How does ShipIT 365 work?

ShipIT 365 seamlessly connects Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central with more than 3,000 carriers worldwide through leading Carrier Portals such as Cargoson, DeliveryMatch, Easypost, nShift Ship or nShift Transsmart.

Manage your entire shipping process directly within Business Central—from booking shipments with your preferred carriers to tracking deliveries and selecting the best carrier based on your shipping preferences. Create shipments, print shipment labels, and manage logistics in just a few clicks, all without leaving BC.

ShipIT 365 connects Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to the Carrier Portal of your choice.

Connect to Cargoson, DeliveryMatch, EasyPost, nShift Transsmart, nShift Ship, and/or Sendcloud.

An account on the Carrier Portal is required because ShipIT 365 is designed to use the data (carriers/service levels/pricing/..) which is sent through into the extension via the API.

Transport orders can be created based upon Sales Orders, Sales Return Orders, Service Orders, Warehouse Shipments, Purchase Orders, Purchase Return Orders, Sales Shipments, Transfer orders and various Posted Documents. It is also possible to create Transport Orders manually.

No. The direct connection with your selected carrier(s) is provided by the Carrier Portal. You can book your transport and print shipment labels directly from Business Central and or a wharehouse mobile divices.

Yes. Your (negotiated) shipment rates charged by the carrier will still apply.

Yes, that is possible. The relevant fields for shipments containing dangerous goods can be added on a one-off basis via our API Extender module.

For nShift Ship, an integration with DGOffice is available. Through this integration, various transport documents for dangerous goods shipments can be printed.

 

Yes you can do that automaticly.

Yes, if the Transport Order has been sent but not yet processed by the carrier you can cancel a Transport Order from within ShipIT 365.

Yes. ShipIT 365 integrates with DeliveryMatch, which offers freight audit functionality. This allows you to automatically verify whether the invoices received from your carriers match the actual shipments and agreed rates — directly from within your Business Central environment. Any discrepancies are flagged, helping you avoid overpayments and saving time on manual invoice checking.

Yes, all documentation relevant to your shipment can be printed together with the shipping label.

When a transport order is booked, a Track & Trace link is automatically generated and made available on both the Transport Order and the source document, such as the Sales Order. These links can also be included in customer emails, enabling customers to track their shipments in real time.

Yes via the Purchase Order or/and the Sales Return Order.

Yes, ShipIT 365 supports third-party billing through the Carrier Account numbers of your third parties (your customers), allowing shipments to be booked and charged to a third party.

No, however, a request can be made to add this carrier to the portfolio of your chosen Carrier Portal.
