Because Commerce 365 connects to Magento, you can run your e-commerce directly from Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. It provides a full-featured product information management system so you can manage item attributes, rich texts, images, videos, categories, and everything else you need to run an online shop, directly from within Dynamics 365 Business Central.

This extends your Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central system with everything you need to sell online and it seamlessly integrates all data with one or more Magento storefronts.
Business Central doesn’t feature any e-commerce functionality in its standard configuration; it’s simply not made for e-commerce. But at the same time, it’s the source for all data related to products, customers, and sales orders. That’s why we developed this extension. With Commerce 365, idyn offers you a full-featured e-commerce suite to be used directly within Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (on-premises and SaaS/online).
There’s no need to learn new software. We believe all your data already sits in Business Central and that’s the application your employees know how to work with. So we just have to extend that application to include everything you need.

Commerce 365 is an easy-to-install solution. The extension doesn’t touch any existing Business Central functionality, so there’s no risk involved. There are lots of customization options and most customer requests can be fulfilled by using the extensive item attribute mechanism. But there are all kinds of possibilities for partners who want to add lower-level customizations.
Commerce 365 means you can say yes to any customer who uses Business Central, without having to know anything about Business Central yourself. Simply set up your store(s) any way you like, configure Commerce 365 to connect to the Magento REST API, and all data will be uploaded and retrieved automatically.
There’s no need to set up anything for products, VAT, customers, or order processing. Commerce 365 will take care of everything.

Commerce 365 for Magento supports Magento versions 2.3 and up. But we highly recommend to always update your Magento environment to the latest available release.
Magento version 1 is not supported.
Commerce 365 is licensed per Business Central company / Magento installation. Depending on the number of store views in your Magento installation you either need the Standard Edition or the Enterprise Edition.
With one license you can connect one Business Central company with one Magento installation.
Every customer receives one additional test license, which can only be used to connect a test/development BC environment to a test/development Magento environment.
Yes, Commerce 365 fully supports the Magento multi-site, multi-store setup. Within Magento you can define as many websites, stores and store views as required. Then just click 'update websites' within Commerce 365 to start using these stores in Business Central.
Commerce 365 for Magento uses the standard Magento REST API. All you have to do is to create an integration within Magento, copy the Access Token and fill that in in Business Central.
One of the key differences is that Commerce 365 for Magento is not just a connector. This extension adds all the functionality that is required to fully manage your Magento directly in Business Central. After installation you can manage your complete Magento catalog, customers accounts and web order processing in Business Central.
There are dedicated PIM systems like Pimcore and Akeneo which have much more features than our internal PIM module has. But, for most customers the internal PIM has exactly what they need to maintain a proper Magento store. The PIM module enables you to manage all item fields, images, documents, videos, (custom) attributes and categories.
Do you want to move to Pimcore, Akeneo or any other PIM system somewhere in the future? No problem. Commerce 365 also supports the use of external PIM systems.
The B2B pricing module enables Magento to make full use of Business Central sales prices and sales line discounts. After installing this module, each customer who logs on to Magento will see their own pricing and discounts. This also includes tiered pricing.
